Your questions answered....

I support adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or stuck after life’s challenges. Through counselling and somatic therapy, we work gently and practically to help you feel more grounded, present, and able to live from a place that feels more like you.

You might be here because…

You function well on the outside, but inside you feel unsettled or exhausted.

You’ve been through experiences that changed you, and you’re not sure how to integrate them.

You feel anxious, disconnected, numb, or stuck in patterns that no longer make sense.

You’ve talked things through before, but something still lives in your body.

Do you offer free consultations?

Taking the first step and reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially if you’ve spent a long time coping on your own.

If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, or simply want to get a sense of how I work, you’re welcome to book a free 15-minute consultation. There’s no pressure and no commitment — just a chance to see if it feels like a good fit.

Do I need to know what to talk about?

No. Many people come feeling confused, numb, or unsure how to put things into words. We start exactly where you are, and the work unfolds naturally.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what feels important right now, and what you hope for. There’s no pressure to share everything at once.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. I offer online sessions as well as in-person work. Online therapy can be just as effective and allows for greater flexibility.

How long are the sessions?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes.

Is somatic therapy physical?

Somatic therapy may involve noticing sensations, breath, posture, or subtle movements, but nothing is forced or invasive. You are always in control, and we move at a pace your nervous system can tolerate.

How many sessions will I need?

There’s no fixed number. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose longer-term work. We review this together as we go.

What if Im not sure if therapy is right for me?

That’s very common. You’re welcome to book a free 15-minute consultation to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether it feels like a good fit.

Can I have counselling & somatic therapy?

Yes, you can have counselling alongside somatic therapy, and many people find the combination very supportive. Counselling helps you explore thoughts, emotions, and life experiences, while somatic therapy works with the body and nervous system, allowing deeper patterns of stress or trauma to gently release.

How much will a session cost?

Sessions are £45 - £65, depending on whether you choose an online or in-person session.

Concessionary rates are avialable for those on a low income, students and trainee counsellors.

Sessions are a place to be heard, understood, and supported in making sense of your experience at your own pace.
